Summary: We only collect the info you provide to the Service, alongside your IP and some timestamps for access logs. We won't sell or trade your info. The Service is 13+ (16+ in AU). You keep the rights to your creations, we just get to share them. We keep records of moderated UGC. Moderators may access your UGC at any time. You're also subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Our goal is to give people a safe space to socialize & create, not hoard your information like a dragon hoards gold. Therefore, we only collect the information required to keep our platform safe, secure and fun for everyone.

By creating an account on Cave of Dreams or any of our other services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree that we may collect and use your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We may collect the following information about you:

• Username (to identify your account)
• Password (to secure your account, salted and hashed so bad actors can't get to it easily)
• IP address (for moderation and security purposes only.)
• Messages (for moderation purposes only. Usually only stored for about 30 days. Chats are not encrypted, please do not share sensitive information on our platform.)
• User-generated content you create (if deleted, UGC will be stored for up to 30 days after deletion.)
• Users you friend or block
• Account customization and settings
• Account access logs (each entry includes your IP and a timestamp. Stored for up to 90 days.)

We also use Cloudflare's Zero Trust Gateways, which means you're also subject to their Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, trade or rent any of this information.

User-generated content

By using the Service, YOU (AND ONLY YOU) ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL USER-GENERATED CONTENT YOU POST. By posting user-generated content on the Service, you grant ToasterPanic Games and users of the Service the right to view and interact with the content. You still retain ownership of your content, and you can still remove it at any time.

Also, we're not responsible for other users downloading, copying or saving your content. We reserve the right to modify or delete your content at any time, for any reason.

In the case that your content is moderated, we will keep a permanent record for moderation and legal purposes only.

Legal requests

We will always try our best to (reasonably!) protect your data and resist legal requests for user data. However, we are still required to comply with certain legal requests, such as court orders or warrants.

Moderation access to personal information

For moderation purposes only, we may allow authorized individuals to access your data at any time. This data includes, but is not limited to:

• User-generated content, such as messages, dreams, uploaded images, and avatars
• Chat logs with other users
• Account access logs.

Moderators CANNOT access your password, and are bound by data protection laws and obligations. We never share your information with third parties, except when required by law or in compliance with this Privacy Policy.

Right to access

All users may request a copy of all of their account data at any time through the Account Settings menu. We will send a .JSON file to you with all account data within 30 days of the request.

Right to be forgotten

All users may request the permanent deletion of their account, as well as all of their UGC, at any time through the Account Settings menu. We will help you out with this and walk you through the process if needed.

Copyright and you

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. PLEASE do not post content that breaks copyright laws in your jurisdiction. We comply with DMCA and will remove the content when requested.

If you need to file a copyright claim, reach out to the admin at [email protected]. Make sure you provide an email for us to reach back to you at, as well as the ID of the content you would like removed. Please make sure to prefix the subject of your email with [DMCA].

COPPA compliance

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 13, and we do not intentionally collect information of those who are under 13. If you know of an individual under 13 who we are collecting information on, please contact us.
